He was born Brandon Anthony Weaver on January 15, 1985 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He lived in suburban Detroit, until the age of 14. The summer before Weaver was to attend high school the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and a year later to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. During high school Weaver could more readily be found on a basketball court or running long distances rather than in the school’s drama department. He ran varsity cross country and served as a varsity triple jumper on the school’s track team. Prior to graduation from Rio Rancho High School, Brandon Weaver enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. After returning from eight months of active duty training, Weaver enrolled in the University of New Mexico with aspirations of becoming an actor. Brandon Weaver graduated from the University of New Mexico on May 17, 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in acting. Weaver served eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve reaching the rank of Sergeant. He has continued to master his craft at the Ivana Chubbuck Studios and the Upright Citizens Brigade. He currently resides in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. |
